PRmoment Leaders launches its In-House programme

From day one as Ben Smith and I worked on the PRmoment Leaders proposition, we planned two separate subscription-based learning programmes and communities: one for senior people agency-side and one for in-house PR & comms professionals. Featuring 11 core elements, both have been developed to provide great people with a dedicated platform on which to learn, to network and to lead.

Our agency-side programme is now fully underway. We have a strong cohort of mainly director-level agency leaders networking and sharing knowledge with each other in the safe community space we’ve created for them. They’re participating in masterclasses tailored to address the strategic issues they must confront to ensure their businesses succeed.

We are now keen to match the success of our agency-side programme with a simultaneous one constructed for people working in comms roles in the corporate world.

Compared to the team-focused world of agency life, comms in the corporate world can be a lonely place. Managing internal stakeholders is often challenging, particularly in complex organisations and especially when the comms function is viewed as a non-revenue generating cost centre that needs to constantly show value. Turning these challenges into opportunities for positive engagement and shared success will be a key focus of our programme.

The PRmoment Leaders in-house programme will explore a range of strategic issues and feature expert masterclasses focused on the big picture. What is the role of PR & comms in business strategy? How do you properly future-proof the skills of in-house comms teams? How to manage your agencies and get the best out of them? These are critical questions we will be addressing.

A key message we’ve been hearing pretty consistently as we’ve been speaking to in-house comms leads is how little networking their people manage in their busy working lives. We will be providing a safe space for our students to network and engage with peers. This controlled exposure to people in similar roles in different business worlds is hugely valuable, for the individuals and ultimately for their teams and businesses.

We believe the time is right to launch the PRmoment Leaders in-house programme to future proof business communications and support the next generation of comms leaders as they navigate a rapidly evolving world.
