Oneplus x Lordi
When Oneplus asked The Romans to launch their latest handset, which is its first handset made entirely of metal, the brief kind of wrote itself. They brilliantly enlisted the Finnish metal band Lordi, who rose to fame for winning Eurovision 2006, to launch the phone.
Together they recorded a special one off track, ‘Made of Metal’, but treated the launch of the new song just like any other artist and label would; with a campaign across Europe teasing the song, a behind the scene’s documentary and a killer music video.
Tech releases don’t have to be boring.
Lick x Mac
Millennial grey has plagued the home decor scene for way too long and it’s about time we had something new. Lick paints have delivered just that, by joining forces with makeup and beauty titans Mac to release a new black paint, dubbed M·A·C Black 40.
Celebrating Mac’s 40th anniversary and taking one of their most iconic colours, caviar, for minimalists and maximalists alike that want to embrace a little more black in their home. It also comes with a Mac lipstick in the Caviar shade.
Launched on the Lick website, the campaign also features design inspiration, tips and conversations with the lead designers and pairing options.

Quaker reacts to the Olympics
We’re going to move away from the black theme that seems to be happening this week with something tactical and clever from Quaker Oats. After the news came out about the state of catering in Olympics village, Team GB put our a simple call: we want porridge. In comes this beautifully simple execution with the claim "champions aren’t made on croissants".

WizzAir ‘AllYouCanFly’ Subscription
This week Wizzair launched an ‘All You Can Fly’ flight subscription service for only £428.
Despite Wizzair potentially being one of the lowest ranked airlines for customer service, it’s a very inventive way to attract customers in a world where everything can be paid for via subscription, so why not travel.
It feels like a huge PR play, with the initial release limited to 10,000 subscriptions, a narrow timeframe and selling out almost instantly. We’ve seen subscription services take the country and media by storm before, and RIP to the Pret subscription that so many loved. Being the fist subscription of its kind by a major airline is what meant that this announcement grabbed the headlines and radio waves.
We need to keep our eyes peeled for anyone actually using this service.

The Rawdogging Simulator
This is hilarious, topical and very well done. The latest TikTok trend to have taken off (heh), is all centered around completing long-haul flights with no in-flight entertainment, no speaking, no sleep and no accepting of drinks. This has been dubbed online as 'Rawdogging' a flight.
Enter, The Rawdogging Simulator created by Conrad Haddaway and Sherwin Teo.
They created an online experience that allows you to experience Rawdogging a flight from the comfort of your own home.
The duo executed the launch of their simulator perfectly, posing as ordinary members of the public who just happened to stumble across the simulator and brought it to the attention of Reddit, Ladbible, Dextero and it’s got the LinkedIn types gagging to write about the trend.
Have a go and see how long you can last...
