The TV is full of Marks and Spencer ads, so Christmas must be looming. Which means there are plenty of PR parties to attend. Did I hear you cry “Whoopee!”, it was hard to tell over the noise of my groaning.

I am definitely more of a party pooper than the life and soul. But what about you?

Your team wins an award at a black-tie do. How do you react?
 

a) Scream, jump up, do a dance, and run whooping onto the stage?

b) Try to be modest as you collect your award, but it’s great to have the hard work acknowledged.

c) You don’t go to the awards, but you crack a smile when you get a text telling you about the victory.

There is a fancy dress event for a client, what is your costume?
 

a) Outrageous isn’t the word. If you don’t win the prize for the best costume, it’s because the award has been fixed.

b) You make an effort, but try not to look like a complete twat.

c) Fancy dress is for idiots.
 

Champagne is flowing and everyone seems merry. How merry are you?
 

a) You can’t remember anything the next day, but people say you were VERY entertaining.

b) You had a few juices and waters to dilute the alcohol, but you still say some stupid things.

a) First on the dance floor, and last off. And you hope to find yourself surrounded by clapping admirers.

b) You dance to your favourites.

c) Dancing is never a good look.
 

You have been set the task of organising the office party. What do you do?
 

a) Oh the excitement! You spend hours researching venues, food and entertainment. This is going to be the best party EVER.

b) You do a quick poll around the office to see what people want to do, and arrange something that pleases most.

c) Never get around to it. Someone else is bound to take over the responsibility when they realise it won’t happen otherwise.
 

How many people do you like to speak to at a party?
 

a) As many as possible. You head for large groups and regale them with shocking tales.

b) All the ones you know. And maybe a few you have never met before.

c) You like to find one person to focus on, and make sure they can’t escape too easily.
