What is the PR Ideas of the Year project?

Click the play button below to hear our interview with James Gordon-MacIntosh. [audio:http://blog.prmoment.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/James_Gordon_MacIntosh_converted.mp3|titles=James Gordon-MacIntosh] Last week we launched our Ideas of the Year project, our effort to gather all the greatest PR ideas from the past year and share them in a book. Working with us is James Gordon-MacIntosh, founder and managing partner at Hope & Glory and regular contributor to our site. We thought it would be a good idea (see what we did there?) to talk to James about what it is we are looking for in your entries and what makes a fantastic stunt.  He believes we're in the Golden Age of the PR idea, with many campaigns out there touching a nerve with the public and its media. A public relations spectacle shouldn't be created for the sake of it, but to reach a commercial objective in an interesting and engaging way. We're looking for creative, clever and quirky ideas from you. The Idea of the Year is all about the best ideas, so entry is free. It's not about making money, it's about celebrating originality. For more information head over to www.ideasoftheyear.co.uk, and to enter simply fill in and return this Ideas of the Year 2012 entry form. Entries are now closed, submissions have been judged and we will reveal the winning ideas soon.
