With the January Transfer Window now open, rumours have started to create a buzz across social media. Meltwater Group have put together this infographic that shows just which players and teams are trending the most this week. Over the period of a week, they monitored over 250 million different sources, across Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, blogs, message boards, forums, Wikipedia etc. The key words used were all of the Premier League football club names in association with; January window OR Transfer window. That data was then taken to produce the word cloud (ie, the more times a name is mentioned, the biger the name appeared on the cloud).
