Senior Marketing and Communications Executive - CIPD

The role

  • Pro rata salary £25,000 (FTE £43,000) + benefits
  • Part time 21 hours per week (flexible working options)
  • Permanent
  • Wimbledon (hybrid working)


You will manage and develop marketing and communications activity to engage members and customers, ensuring alignment to brand, engagement plans and UK Market strategy. You will also work closely with marcomms and the UK Operations team to manage plans that maximise and build opportunities to engage with members and showcase regional and local engagement activity.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Developing regional marketing and communications plans aligned with the overall UK and national communications strategy.
  • Working with engagement teams, adapt materials and messages to resonate with specific regional audiences, considering nuances and customer insights.
  • Working with marcomms to review and agree comms approach for UK Market, including developing and producing regional comms, reviewing branch monthly e-newsletters, gathering news articles/case studies, and writing original copy where needed.
  • Working with the insights and marcomms teams to track and report on the performance of regional marketing and communication activities.
  • Working with engagement teams, manage and review the content of existing regional and branch social platforms.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for regional teams and branches where necessary, offering solutions and training for consistent approach.
  • Leading and mentoring the Marketing & Communications Executive, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and high standards.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful

  • Experience of developing and delivering marketing and communications plans.
  • Experience of developing key messages and content.
  • Experience working with a range of stakeholders to maximise communications plans.
  • An excellent writer and communicator, able to create copy for a range of audiences and channels.
  • Experience using social media channels and contribute to social content across a variety of platforms.
  • A real team player able to collaborate across a number of teams in the business with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • A strong work ethic with a commitment to excellence and results.
  • Proven ability to measure and evaluate activity outputs and impact.
