PR Manager - WildKat

WildKat is seeking an experienced full-time PR Manager to join our London office and lead impactful campaigns within the classical music and cultural industries. You will work closely with our global team, including Directors, PR Managers, and Digital Marketing specialists, to craft and execute innovative PR strategies that generate high-profile coverage and publicity for our clients.

We are looking for someone who has experience in leading campaigns in the performing arts, ideally in classical music, is well-organised, hard-working and enthusiastic, as well as friendly and approachable. You should enjoy working with a close-knit team, across all our offices, with the ability to both collaborate and work independently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Client management: Oversee a portfolio of clients, helping them to achieve their PR objectives.
  • Campaign innovation: Think creatively about campaign strategies, utilising fresh connections and new methods to approach your work.
  • Digital integration: Collaborate with our Digital Team to incorporate emerging technologies and digital media into PR campaigns.
  • Leadership: Take a leading role in developing and executing unique, creative PR campaigns to elevate both client brands and WildKat’s reputation.
  • Content creation: Draft a variety of materials such as fact sheets, biographies, and blog posts, tailored to client needs.
  • Media relations: Build and maintain relationships with journalists, securing media coverage and managing client appearances at key industry events.
  • Networking: Actively network within the classical music and arts industries to expand your influence and promote WildKat.
  • Team development: Mentor and guide junior team members, helping them grow into future leadership roles.

Essential qualifications:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in arts PR (ideally classical music).
  • Well-versed in classical music and the arts, with a deep understanding of industry nuances.
  • Have your own established contact book of arts journalists and relationships with relevant media.
  • Able to devise forward-thinking campaigns while staying adaptable under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.

Salary:

We are offering a salary range of £30,000- £35,000 per annum, subject to your experience. The start date will be agreed with the successful applicant, but we are looking for someone to begin as soon as possible.
