Penguin PR is a Midlands-based public relations firm that specialises in raising awareness of clients' products and services through strategic communication. Our team, composed of former journalists, has secured placements for clients in local media as well as top media outlets like BBC Radio 2, Good Housekeeping, and the Guardian. We provide a range of services, including PR, award entry writing, copywriting, social media management, and blogging, to ensure our clients' messages reach their target audiences.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role (Mon-Thurs office-based, Friday working from home) for a Public Relations Executive at Penguin PR. The role will support the work of account managers by carrying out tasks such as uploading stories to our website's media centre, posting and creating graphics for blogs, researching new titles, sending out stories and following up, as well as looking after social media and other administrative jobs within the office.
There will also be scope to look after writing, video and photos, and also the opportunity to write blogs for our weekly LinkedIn blog.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and writing abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of social media management and digital PR trends
- Experience in social media management, particularly on TikTok and LinkedIn
- Experience with analytics tools to measure social media performance
- Ability to create engaging content tailored for diverse audiences
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field
- Previous PR agency experience is a plus
