DevComms is an innovative and forward-thinking stakeholder engagement consultancy dedicated to the built environment sector. We are looking for a dynamic Account Executive to join our Midlands team, based in Birmingham.

About the Role
We seek an imaginative self-starter passionate about the built environment, local politics, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will thrive on shaping new places and communities through innovative and creative strategies. While the role allows for remote and flexible working, a minimum of two days per week in our Birmingham office is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and collaborating on innovative public affairs programmes and strategies
- Conducting political and community research
- Creating engaging publicity material for political and community stakeholders
- Analysing and reporting on consultation feedback
- Building relationships with local communities and client teams
- Monitoring local media and political activity
- Confidently managing dialogue with stakeholders, clients and consultants
- Leveraging social media and digital tools in the engagement process
About the Person
Essential skills and qualities for the role include:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Confident and charismatic communicator
- Independent and collaborative worker
- Interest or experience in stakeholder engagement
- Understanding of local and national politics and ideally the built environment
- Attention to detail
- Full, valid driving licence and access to a car
