Account Manager/ Senior Account Manager - THIRTY4/7 Communications

Location: Remote / Home-based with access to our offices in Newport, South Wales

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000+ dependent on experience

Thirty4/7 Communications (T4/7) is looking for an Account Manager/Senior Account Manager to join us and support the delivery of a number of exciting new renewables projects.

We’re looking for:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • An understanding of or interest in politics and/or the planning process
  • Experience of working proactively with clients, managing projects and adding value through your work
  • A high standard of professional conduct
  • Self-motivated worker, with initiative and attention to detail
  • A positive mindset, able to work to tight deadlines or with changing information
  • Well organised, with a logical approach to managing information, files and data
  • A university degree in a relevant subject (desired)
  • A driving licence (desirable)
  • Experience of Welsh politics, the Welsh planning system, or communicating with Welsh audiences (desirable)

About our work

As an Account Manager / Senior Account Manager you will act as the day to day point of contact with clients, political stakeholders and residents. You will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of accessible and engaging communications programmes and adding value for our clients. The role will be varied, with support required across projects in the energy, infrastructure, residential and retail sectors.

Examples of things you’ll be doing include:

  • Designing and implementing accessible and inclusive consultation and engagement campaigns
  • Being the first point of contact for clients as you manage and deliver the agreed scope of works
  • Working with Account Executives to draft press releases, website content, letters, newsletters and exhibition boards and maintain accurate databases
  • Managing public exhibitions, pop-up stalls and stakeholder events (both online and in-person)
  • Preparing and delivering innovative digital engagement, including social media campaigns
  • Produce blog posts on key topics of interest within the built environment
  • Working with Directors to build client relationships, identify business development opportunities and participate in pitches to prospective clients
